Cadence House of Prayer

listening to the heartbeat of heaven

We are a small but growing House of Prayer (HOP) and ran our first internship in the summer of 2017.

If any of these apply to you and you would like to join us, please fill out an application form.

There are two types of internship, the School, which is one day a week over three terms, and a more intensive full-time internship the Joshua Programme.

HOP School will consist of 3 terms Spring, Summer and Autumn. Each term will be 8 consecutive Tuesdays. Agreeing to a place on the School would be agreeing to attend each School session except for exceptional circumstances such as sickness or family crisis.

The school day will 9am - 5pm, including an hour for lunch and breaks for coffee.

The Joshua Programme would consist of 2 parts:

Part 1 - 3 months of focussed teaching, training and participation in the house of prayer.

Part 2 - 3 months serving in the HOP alongside the full-time and part-time intercessory missionaries and the community volunteers.

The content will include:

- time in the prayer room. For the School, there will be a HOP session 12pm-2pm on Tuesdays, which will be part of the school   day

- teaching subjects including: Intimacy with God, End-times, The Father heart of God, Sermon on the mount, Aspects of who    Jesus is

- training in subjects including: Harp and bowl worship, Prayer, Biblical meditation, How to spend time in the prayer room

- for singers, musicians, worship leaders there will be opportunities to develop your skills in the context of the prayer room

- opportunity to grow in prayer leading

- time to grow in the prophetic

- for the Joshua Programme, service in the HOP (e.g. admin, cleaning, greeting)

- for the Joshua Programme, possibly service in an organisation external to the prayer room (such as care homes, healing on   the streets, youth ministry)

- optional opportunity to learn and grow skills in PA and/or Audio-visual (words display)

- optional opportunity to grow in art, dance or other creative areas

For the School, we encourage participants to be involved in one or more other HOP sessions a week, however this is not mandatory.

You will need to fill out an application form which will include 2 references, one of which should be from a leader in your local church.

You will need to be at least 18 at the start of the internship; there is no upper age limit.

For the School There will be a small charge of £10 per term towards costs and materials. We strongly encourage you to have a team of people supporting you in prayer.

For the Joshua Programme there will be a small charge of £50 towards costs and materials. No one in the hop is paid, so interns are expected to raise their own support, both financial, and (not unimportantly) in prayer. Interns will ,therefore, have to provide for their own living expenses, including accommodation as unfortunately we are currently unable to provide the latter.

Please contact us for an application form, or if you have any questions.
